All of LPN is just great, they all play off each other really well and never fail to make me smile 😊 except MJ. Shes insufferable

I started listening after Ed joined LPOTL. He brought a sense of joy I didn’t realize was missing. So I decided to listen to The Brighter Side…. Amber is AWESOME! She and Ed bounce off each other like old chums. Both are honest and hilarious. And the LPN sick sense of humor is totally intact. I miss having brighter side stories every week, but I’m so thankful to have this podcast in my life. My fav on all of LPN (even LPOTL proper. Haha.)

I absolutely adore hearing from Amber and Ed, their friendship is so wonderful, and the way they banter is hilarious! I love listening in the morning to start my day with something funny that’s sure to make me smile. Keep doing what you’re doing! JG

The latest episode stopped me in my tracks. As a true crime enthusiast I’ve heard a lot of awful stories but I’ve never heard a host so openly, blatantly condone murder. Amber multiple times expressed with a complete lack of empathy or remorse as she told stories of people very clearly suffering from mental illness that it would just be easier if they were murdered. Thank you Ed for expressing your opposition to her bizarre position. I’ll continue to love listening to LPOTL and Side Stories. Not this though. Wow.

The brighter side is truly one of the brighter spots of the week. I love my last podcast network and Brunetti you guys are awesome Muchas Gracias for what you do.

Was really enjoying this podcast until the last two episodes. I respect your views but you drew a line in the sand against an opposing political party. A lot of last episode was just fear mongering. As a republican who respected your opposing view and was able to continue listening. To hear you tell another listener to give up their friend because they voted trump is unacceptable. Unity, cooperation and understanding is what you need to promote not division. Please respect over half of America choose this.

Used to love this show, but since the election it’s been a constant rant against conservatives, or “trump” voters. One more episode before I unsubscribe.

Amber and Ed truly broke my heart. They don’t want me or people like me around. I can take a hint…you don’t like people that don’t agree with you. Got it! Way to alienate your fans. Well former fans. I’m so glad I wasted years of my life listening to these people who obviously find me abhorrent.

Just a fun show. Amber and Ed are a great pairing that help me cheer up after a hard day.

This is my go to podcast when I need to turn my brain off and just enjoy these two folks chatting it up. Always entertaining.

We all know that Ed Larson is a musky, manly and Mellifluous beast that constantly slouches towards Bethlehem to be born, and we love him for that, but Amber Nelson? Just consider that name. Could’ve been the most beautiful and puritanical XXX porn queen of all time if not for her fundamental drive to do something greater with her life. Together these two combine to deliver the heretofore unseen podcasting brilliance and social engineering phenomenon known as “The Brighter Side”. It is rare that the table of periodic elements pukes out an entirely new compound for us to explore with out plasma-soaked fingers but I tell you that opportunity is here and slathered out in front of us right now. Dig in, elbows deep. Don’t miss it!

Great show unless Holden Mcneely is on - his voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Also he sounds like the dude at the party you want to throw out the back door

The hosts are so wonderful and fun I could listen all day. Amber is beautiful inside and out and has the funniest take on everything. Edd is like the funny teddy bear uncle everyone loves. This show is my go to when I need to laugh 😂

The Brighter Side has quickly become a favorite of mine. Lighthearted, fun, and positive without being sappy. In a world where we’re constantly being bombarded by negativity, this show is a refreshing break. Amber and Ed have a great rapport and always manage to keep a good flow going. Five stars.

Love ed and ambers banter and general attitude, this is always a super fun listen. But on some of the episodes, Amber is REALLY, really, really uneducated and uniformed, and it really hinders my enjoyment of the show. She’s fun and great to listen to and I adore Ed, but sometimes Amber sounding off about stuff she (at best) knows nothing about and (at worse) is wildly incorrect about is actively stressful to listen to. Not being a snob at ALL, there’s a million things I know NOTHING about, I just generally don’t sound off about those things. Still listen every week, just happens every so often depending on the topic.

Truly will be the Brightest side of your week !

I used to love this show and I still enjoy parts of it, but PLEASE bring back experts and stick to comedy/interviewing. Episodes like the one about illegal immigration with the lawyer were so good, breaking down heavy stuff. So much of what Amber says now is not just uninformed but ignorant when you as a listener know a teensy bit about the topic yourself.

This shouldn’t be under the category of comedy.

Who do I have to speak with to make “Ed Rants” an actual show on LPN? That made my day.

The show’s fun and funny. Eddie and Amber have great natural chemistry as hosts. The guests they have on are always good. It’s just a good podcast, if you enjoy comedy. They don’t rely on acting crazy to get laughs. They just say funny stuff and it’s clear they enjoy making the show, just by how much they laugh. Turn it on, and turn it up.

Love the podcasts. Since you left to a platform I was never interested in, I only had roundtable of gentlemen for a couple years. (Which holds up awesomely) Now I have a bunch of last podcast network to catch up on. Fun stuff.

I used to love this pod but I can’t listen to Amber’s uninformed comments about guns any more. My two aunts, both parents and now cousin were all killed by gun violence in America so please for the love of god stop glorifying the “right to own guns” without any idea what you’re saying (while constantly talking about how much better the USA is than than Saudi Arabia. Amber: just because your life is better than your parents told you it would be if you still lived in SA DOES NOT mean that’s true for most people here and your dismissive and ignorant comments only glorify a very dark side of our society. Don’t you understand what you’re saying and the ideas you’re championing? Thanks for the laughs in the days before my family and life was destroyed by gun violence and willful ignorance of Americans who love killing devices. Unfortunately I’ll just be on the lookout for something actually uplifting to listen to on a Friday afternoon.

I like the show it’s funny entertaining and sometimes informative however much of the time both of the hosts spit out odd rhetoric and present opinions and anecdotes as fact like most of the hosts on LPN. again I like the show but I know that most of the time they don’t really know what they are talking about

I love this podcast. It’s easy listening, sounds just like having friends over. I love the concept of finding the brighter side of any situation, and I end up belly laughing throughout the episodes! Give it a try!!

The most slept on podcast! Talking about the nitty gritty with the warm fuzzy spin on it. I listen when LPOTL makes me too sad! Love you guys!

I don’t listen to every episode, but I never miss any of Amber’s intros. They are brilliant and scattered but encapsulate the topic in such a hilarious way that they make me laugh over and over again. The cast are kind and realistic and intelligent and seem to truly care for one another and the audience. This is a top notch comfort podcast, even when the topics are especially stark. If you’re isolated and want that feeling of cool friends around, turn this one on.

I'm really dissapointed in the Last Podcast Network giving rapist Jeff Ross a platform. Seriously? The guy had a 'relationship' read statutory rape and grooming of a 15 year old girl. And this episode came out AFTER this story came to light? I liked everyone else on the LPN network, but I can't support a show that suppoerts a child rapist.

I started listening to this show after being introduced to Ed and Amber through the Roundtable of Gentlemen podcast and I’m hooked. I love their humor and the way they approach the positive aspects of negative things from a twisted perspective.

Clearly lack any understanding of the Catholic Church. And promote tropes and misinformation about the church. While there are definitely things the church the could do better some of their points are straight up lies. It seems even though the grew up catholic they either had poor teachers or they misunderstood what they were taught.

It’s good to hear people talk about tough life topics. It can get uncomfortable sometimes, I like that. I don’t alway agree with everyone or every take and that’s okay. These hosts have good radio chemistry and someone is obviously taking the time to quality produces

Ed Larson may well be one of my favorite live humans, and I love Amber as well. This show never ever fails to make me laugh. That’s not a compliment that I can pay to anything else. Thanks guys.

This podcast is funny and heartwarming, and after listening to many episodes I feel like I know Eddie and Amber really well. They’re very genuine people, and they’re always hilarious. This show isn’t a deep research dive into various topics, but rather a light hearted look at each topic. Eddie and Amber aren’t experts on every topic that they cover, but that’s definitely not the point here, the point is to have fun but to get people to think about some very serious concepts in modern society. I love that they’re enthusiastic and high energy, rather than monotone. Seriously, I can’t stand podcasts that make me feel like I’m going to fall asleep at the wheel. This has been a great way to start my morning and I look forward to every episode that comes out.

This episode was right on time! I love these folks, seem like genuinely good people all across the LPN network! Well, except Henry.

Ok, I listened to the a couple and I was amazed at how little evidence they use and how much of what they say is anecdotal and based on their opinion. I thought it was an educational podcast and I was going to learn something but that was my mistake, it says right there at the top “Comedy”. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because people listen to them and believe research went into their podcasts, this is obviously not the case. But again they can do that it’s a comedy podcast, not an educational one. Please don’t listen to this thinking you’re getting an explanation about anything and learning anything substantive, listen to it because you enjoy the entertainment and personalities.

Easily the most uninformed podcast I’ve ever heard. It’s physically embarrassing to listen to this. Nothing but fake news!
