    Two Hundred A Day
I decided to binge watch the series just to see how LA has changed over the years. While watching I just fell in love with e writing, the mood and the series regulars. Craving more, I discovered the podcast and love the commentary. A true labor of love. Yes, or no.

Politics and ignorance is a bad combination. #melanin_guilt

    Smart, thoughtful, fun
These guys unpack so much out of each Rockford Files episode. I have listened to podcasts either before or after watching an episode, and it always makes me think of something new. Highly recommend.

    Top tier.
In much the same way there are no bad episodes of The Rockford Files, just episodes that have more Rockfordness than maybe some others do, there are no bad episodes of Two Hundred a Day the podcast that glories in the Rockfordness of The Rockford Files.

I’d Give Six Stars If I Could
A thoughtful and well done monthly podcast that is a must listen for any Rockford Files fan. This podcast is a true tribute to a great TV show that the Internet and television has forgotten. You won’t find a better podcast, subreddit, or forum out there about the Rockford Files. This is a podcast for The Rockford Files fans created by fellow Rockford Files fans. Thank you, Epi and Nathan. Six stars!

Made me love the show even more!
I love how much these guys love the show. They point out excellent acting, writing, and directing which helps one appreciate the show even more.

    Topic
I only started listening recently. Brilliant idea and I look forward yo the in depth discussions on each episode. I see other reviews about BLM and veganism. I haven’t hit those episodes yet but at least I realize those are not topics the listener tuned in for. The same as if you spoke about Reconquista and outdoor grilling. I’ll be skipping over those parts as they have absolutely no correlation to the Rockford Files.

Love the Rockford dialogue, not the political commentary
When the hosts talk about and break down Rockford Files, the show is enjoyable. Problem is they continually go off topic. I don’t care what you eat or what political party you belong. I wasn’t here to listen about anything outside of Rockford.
  • Dr not Mr Evazan thank you
BLM, Vegan? You had me at The Rockford Files!!!
Great show and please, keep up the good fight. Mention BLM, Veganism and any thing else. All of our voices are important in these trying times.

    What a fun podcast
The Rockford Files was one of a few shows I really looked forward to as I was growing up. As an adult I’ve developed a new appreciation of the show and recently purchased the full DVD set. It’s a brilliant series, it keeps you thinking right up to the end. And the scenes of iconic LA and the cars just make it even better. This podcast makes me feel like I’m hanging with old friends and good people!

    BLM???? Really???
    You’ve just lost me

    Rockford
Great pod, have watched Rockford my entire life. Sometimes during the pod I yell things out hoping the hosts will listen, example, during a car chase during gearjammers part 1, jim tells the driver of the car chasing him he made keeping up look easy. The reason for this was the actor in the chase car was Terry Leonard, maybe the best stunt man in the business. Love the pod and thank you.

    Rockford Files
Having grown up this Rockford I enjoy listening to these guys discuss the episodes. They are very good and really understand characters in the show. Unfortunately they seem to be the last people in the world you would expect to talk about an American war hero. One of them is a Vegan and tells us constantly. They see hidden sexism and racism in the show all the time. They think that White Supremacist are infiltrating the police to wrongly arrest black folks. So if you can overlook listening to left wing, but entertaining, wackos then this show is for you.

Huge fan of the show and podcast!!
Awesome podcast guys!! Like many of us, my introduction to TRF was as a kid when my parents watched it (reruns in the 80’s). When I was in college, it was on one of the channels and I decided to watch it again. I was instantly hooked! The writing is fantastic! Complex, original plots that would never be used with the (stupid) audience of today. Also, James Garner did all of his own stunts and driving! The Podcast is fantastic for dissecting episodes, and it’s pretty cool how much I’ve learned revisiting each show with you guys. Excellent job, and thanks for sharing your passion of the best detective TV show ever produced!

    Thank you!
I’m a 26 year old who loves to watch classic tv shows. I discovered the Rockford Files a few months ago and fell in love. Thank you for this podcast! You point out things I have never thought of, or things I missed. I enjoy going back and watching the episodes you’ve covered after I’ve listened because I notice new things.

    Love the show.
Do you two use different mics? Can you try to equalize them to sound the same? One seems to have more reverb or echo.

    Finally
Nate & Eppy do an affectionate and extremely knowledgeable podcast -- great interaction, great information and such onviouse love for the best private eye show of all time. If you love Rockford, you'll love this!

    Really liking this
I’ve been watching Rockford Files all my life, but until now I would never have been able to articulate why I like it so much. I’m loving the conversation. I’m still catching up to the podcast (I’m on episode 10), but I really hope someone tells Eppy that the show does not star James Gard-ner! [Edit: finally acknowledged in episode 14]

    A Study in Media
This is a fantastic podcast! Not only is it an exploration of a classic quality tv show, it is a reflection on the nature of television itself, asking questions about storytelling, fiction, and drama. Anyone interested in the art of acting, film, or how narrative functions should check out this show. It is also a meditation on The Rockford Files, episode by episode. Maybe some of the listeners will be too young to remember this show. Don't miss out because of this! Get the DVDs or watch it on Streaming from Netflix or Hulu, or elsewhere. I saw this show as a 1st grader, kindergarten kid (and younger), but missed out on many of the nuances. i just liked the fancy car, James Garner's voice, and the detective/mystery aspect. As an adult, I see much more in the show, and this podcast is an excellent vehicle for opening up to this deeper understanding. It's a fun TV Show and a terrific Podcast!

    Excellent Podcast
The Rockford Files is one of those shows that I don't think I appreciated when it first aired because I was too young. Watching it now, I'm realizing how much I missed before so I'm thrilled to have found a podcast focused on the show. The four episodes I've listened to so far have been interesting and insightful. Do yourself a favor and subscribe.

A great delve into the archives.
Two Hundred Dollars a Day is an insightful exploration of The Rockford Files by two sharp as tacks game designers. They not only examine the episodes, but discuss the underlying narrative structures and how you might apply them to your own narrative games or writing.

    Rockford Redux!
A good conversation: discussion of the episode, analysis of style, call outs for great dialgoue. Good chemsitry between hosts. I like little discussion at the end about how the themes and devices fit with rpgs and other media.
