Rule Of Three

16

Comedy writers Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris talk to people who make comedy about something funny that they love. Guests pick something that makes them laugh. A book, a film, a tv show, a comic, a radio show, anything. Maybe we find out something about how comedy works, or we just giggle until we're finished. Both approaches are valid.

    Amazing perspectives on comedy
If you are interested in why things are funny at all you should listen to all of these. Hearing funny people explain what they appreciate and learned from classics unpacks a huge amount of so structural information that you just don’t get when people talk about themselves or works that haven’t had time to simmer into our culture. It’s also funny!

    Hours of aceness
A brilliant series that brings out the joy of comedy - whether you’re familiar with the subjects or not. You could learn a bit about how comedy works, but not necessarily. This is the podcast equivalent of a trusted mate saying ‘have you heard this?’.

Paul King and the hosts discussing Paddington and To Be or Not To Be is so amazing. Funny, insightful, even educational, and glorious!
