The shows taken a huge dip in quality in the last 2-3 years. No real structure to the show anymore. Very blue collar “raw dog” comedy now. The current co host audio quality sounds like a garbage can. Go back and listen from the beginning until gnarly leaves the show

Mike burns’ sense of humor really works when he is hanging with friends doing a pod. Brooks, Brido, and karl have all co-hosted. Mike is a great story teller and always looking for funny. Which is appreciated. This is the my weekend podcast for relaxing and unwinding. He has a patreon too. Definitely worth the extra ep every week.

The episodes with Brido turn into big baby boomer esque whine sessions. “Kids don’t play catch anymore! I’m gonna get canceled!” Boooooring bring back Gnarly for more episodes.

Boys, that ‘Jesus feeding people’ bit in Episode 190 was one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard. Laughed so hard I felt some piss dribbling out, but couldn’t find my pissjug at first. While looking in the backseat for an empty one, my car veered off the road and right into the neighborhood skatepark. Hit a ramp, did a sick kickflip mctwist, and drained the main vain in style. Godspeed, boys!

Spent about 10 hours listening to Power Moves on a road trip from LA to the San Francisco Bay Area. It made for such an enjoyable drive, kept us laughing the whole way. Gnarly and Mike have great chemistry. Don’t be some corncob, and give it a listen you guys!

I became a fan of Mike Burns about a decade ago, after following @DadBoner on Twitter. Then, I saw he had a book. At the time, I legitimately thought Carl Welzein was a real dude/dad. After reading a chapter, and laughing my a** off, I went on the interwebs and discovered that Carl was a character created by the one and only Mike Burns. Total Power Move, you guys. Burns is a hilarious comedy from Michigan, and every Thursday he sends out his Power Moves podcast. Topics range from fast food fisticuffs, television, music, beer, comedy, sports, and a ton of other entertaining material. Originally, Power Moves featured Brooks Wheelan (from SNL etc..), but now Mike shoots the shi* with Gnarly Zack (Maurin). Mike and Gnarly are great together, so don’t miss out, you guys! Pretty much the greatest podcast of all time. Usually I listen as soon as it’s released. Laugh out Loud funny! The only podcast you’ll ever need! Haven’t missed an episode yet. Any time I need a pick me up, This is the show I listen to! So many episodes I’ve listened to, I feel like I Know Burns and Gnarly from way back. My sexy-ass and most gorgeous and sensual wife just put her year-old sulcata tortoise on my chest. It peed on me. This thing is pretty small, but will almost certainly outlive both of us and it had a head that looks like someone just pulled that skin back and I like to think of them as the power moves mascot. during my drives to my dads house and back we’ve started listening to the podcast as a family!! im 16 and my sister’s 13 my daddy is also a man from the grand blanc area named mike!! we find it hilarious and find us making jokes from the podcast like of course “pull that skin back” frequently. we appreciate the great content and all the laughs that even lady daddies can appreciate, keep up the good work from the beer family in michigan!!
