EllisphotosWonderful and InformativeI love the Homestead Journey podcast. I’m not a homesteader, don’t own a farm and at 60-years of age probably won’t be doing so, but listening to the podcast makes me feel like I am living the country life. Brian is informative and detailed while doing so in a natural way. He just seems like a friendly and helpful guy. I recommend the show to everyone. Richard Charleston, SC.

Ian M New HampshireThanks BrianI look forward to the Homestead Journey every Monday. This a great podcast that I have learned a lot from. Brian Wells runs a small homestead and I like that because my particular situation does not allow a large acre farm. He calls for homesteaders to make the best with what you have. This podcast gave me the courage to put in a garden and get some laying hens and I love it. I also appreciate that Brian is a family man and a Christian.

ColoradoRyanGreat Content, Well Presented! When I first started listening to the podcast, I was worried that the monologue type format would deter me but I was quickly and pleasantly surprised. I am catching up on the podcast now and am 20 episodes in. The information is great and I really like the “mini-series” that provide great information and lots of details that are helping steer my journey!

CSG CathyGreat information for HomesteadersJoin Brian Wells as he explores various homestead topics. Brian and his young family are learning as they go on their 2-acre farm. Episodes are well-organized and the sound quality is good. Topics range from gardening to poultry to pastured pigs and record-keeping. I’ll be listening to this one regularly.

Justice777890E17It cemented my interest in this podcast when the teenager referred to the “chicken prisons”. Hilarious! I’m definitely going to start using that in my conversations now. I also really enjoyed hearing Brian Jr talk about the different breeds of chickens in another episode. He seems very excited to have the birds and he seems to really care about them.
