    I’m hooked
I originally started listening to this podcast because I was invited on as a guest—and I always make a point to do my homework before any appearance. After just a few episodes, I was hooked. I haven’t stopped listening since. This podcast is packed with insightful, actionable ideas around financial planning and debt management—many of which I now share with my own clients as a financial advisor. I’ve been recommending it widely, and I’m genuinely grateful to have discovered it!

    Zero help
I listened to four episodes waiting for one helpful tip or advice. Waste of platform.

    Awesome Podcast
I started this podcast at work driving 11 hours a day this week and am on episode 45 already. I’ve learned so much and feel encouraged to finally knock my debt out with the snowball method. I’ve moved money around instead of having all my money in my checking account giving myself the false sense that i have money to waste, plan to switch to cash more often, set weekly reoccurring deposits to savings account, and plan to sit down with the spouse and get everything on the table and get a good plan going! Thanks for all the good info and inspiration!

    No real advice
I don’t usually write reviews I just would delete the show and move on but this bugged me. I found this on TikTok, downloaded got in the car and was so happy to get to my destination for it to be over with. There was no real advice, just a lot of laughing and talk about shopping at Aldi and Target. Not one drop of helpful advice.

    So helpful!
The three hosts are so relatable without being shaming. I honestly felt like I could do this just because they tell stories from their past, and they made it out, so I can too. They also share small successes as well as big, so the success stories you hear aren’t unobtainable!

    Motivating!!!
I used to listen to Dave Ramsey, but would not be as uplifted and motivated as listening to Debt Free Dad. When people we’re giving their debt free screams, it would feel so far away for me. Now when listening to the shout outs and little victories of people in the midst of paying down debt, it feels like I’ll get there. Because I know that those people are out there. Fighting the good fight!!!

    Great balanced advice
Just discovered this podcast today and listened to a few episodes — and will definitely listen to more. So far I’m loving the host’s style and point of view. The episode on renting vs buying a home was particularly resonant for me since I’ve always rented and enjoyed the freedom it provides. Nice to hear that viewpoint represented.

    Love this podcast!
This podcast not only gives very helpful information from people that have “been there and done that”, but it also covers so many different topics (debt only being a portion of the topics). It interviews people that have completely different backgrounds than the hosts may have, so you can see how these financial tips effect all aspects of someone’s life. Bonus- I also find them pretty freaking hilarious to listen to.

Regular people sharing past experiences and motivation to get you living that debt free life!
Before I found Brad and his podcast I was an abide Dave Ramsey/Chris Hogan listener. Both brought great info and motivation but sometimes it was hard to relate considering the stages their at. Brad and his guests are easier to relate to because they come off as everyday people who fell into the trap of the lack of financial literacy and are still early in their journey of being debt free. The way the end the podcasts are motivating because they shoutout everyday people who are making progress. From little things like saving a few extra a month or paying off a debt completely. Down to earth people. Great advice on different topics. Constant motivational push at the end of each episode. 👍🏽

Great advice on money habits, debt and saving
I look forward to every Tuesday when a new episode comes out. I recently graduated from college and this podcast has given me some great advice on paying off my student debt and creating good money habits and how to sustain them. They also talk about all the money mistakes they’ve made and how to avoid these problems which has been helpful as I am just beginning to learn how to manage my money. This podcast is great for anyone regardless of the amount of debt you’re in or how much you know about money management, they really cover it all.
