SouthernBakerHelpful! This podcast is so helpful because they review series as they are ongoing episode by episode. As someone who's not good with violence but likes to follow my favorite actors, it helps me know which episodes to watch and what plot points to fast-forward through. I also like their friendly tone while having differing opinions

SeriouslySnapeAlwauspersonal opinion onlyI like this podcast, sometimes the nicknames they give characters are a little cringe to me, but that’s my personal opinion. My one star taken away, is because sometimes I don’t fully agree with their assessment and wanna debate/have a conversation. I think some of the reviews on the show from a couple years ago were pretty rough on these people. I’m also guessing the show has have evolved and developed quite a bit over the last couple of years— I’ve been listening to some of the older episodes, and I kind of understand where some of the other reviewers were coming from. Commenting on actors or musicians bodies and just kind of making throwaway comments about celebrity gossip— I guess it’s not my cup of tea/style. overall, it’s a very solid K drama commentary podcast. I will keep listening. 😊🫶🏻

yenbabyblueFun to listen to!I’m very new to watching K drama and so it was nice to find a podcast that talks about the shows. My first show that I watched was Alchemy of souls and so it was nice to listen to what they had to say. Good podcast to listen for recommendations, recaps of the shows and the different opinions. **Also I would love for you guys to go back and talk more about the alchemy of souls, part 2. The episodes you guys did were too short!

HeyHolly176I’m a fan! Cheers!I’ve been loving the vibe of Brandon, Jenny and Andy as they discuss their recent kdrama shows. I find myself nodding along when they discuss the shows and really love how they inject their fun personalities and random side bar comments/predictions. I secretly think in a non stalker way that we are totally friends and really look forward to listening to each episode. Since I’ve only discovered them recently via The InfatuAsian podcast (another must listen!), I’m going back to compare their thoughts on previous dramas.

THIS ONE!!!!THIS is THE Kdrama PodcastI have been searching for a podcast just like this!! Love Jenny, Brandon, and Andy’s (ofc Terry too) hot takes and in-depth analysis over the most recently released dramas. As someone who doesn’t have many peers that watch kdrama, I feel like I’m included in their discussions which truly does help take the weight off your chest after watching a few episodes. I look forward to listening every Thursday- Thank you 3 for your amazing rankings, reviews, opinions, and more!! Truly, this podcast deserves a 5.0 rating :)

The QloudletWatch out for spoilers!I like them and what they have to say (for the most part), but they do not care about spoilers and they do not warn you before spoiling. At this point, multiple dramas have been spoiled for me and it’s very upsetting. The guys also tend to interrupt the girl (Jennie?) which was frustrating because she for sure is the brains of the operation. When I first discovered this podcast, I thought oh hey some men who watch and enjoy kdramas nice! It was nice to get a male perspective as kdrama podcasts are definitely dominated by female watchers. That was what I thought at first. But as I listened more I started to question if what these guys (the men) were saying was worth listening to. If you listen you will see what I mean. They can also sometimes be a little mean and condescending but they definitely do not intend harm. Overall still worth listening, just take this as a warning.

FeltycootFun if you hate K-DramasI have very mixed feelings about this podcast. In essence it is fun and the format of a group of friends casually discussing K-dramas promises to be quite enjoyable. The problem rests, I suppose in just HOW casually they discuss these dramas. I seek out podcasts to listen to meaningful, thought provoking discussion about things I love or am interested in. The hosts quickly glaze over plot points, don’t provide any evidence or insight into their opinions and as a result, fail to generate any type of meaningful discussion. Additionally, the way they talk about certain characters, actors and other aspects of the show are often times demeaning. Even if I find myself agreeing, they come across as disrespectful and mean spirited (don’t get me started on the nicknames) indicating their overall lack of empathy and understanding of the material. They root for characters to die so that the show is more fun for them and express boredom frequently. They essentially talk about what they hate and move on. A lot of the time, I get the sense they don’t really enjoy K-Dramas at all. The host Jennie tries to inject a sense of heart to discussions but is often railroaded by her less intelligent, immature co-hosts. I personally enjoy K-Drama as a pleasant escape from reality and as a means to elicit empathy and understanding through the beautiful stories they tell. You might like this show if you treat these shows as nothing more than a popcorn flick. If you are looking for a podcast where the hosts share your passion and love for K-Drama…look elsewhere.

👀Izzy!Fun and feels like a chat with friendsThis group is fun and very honest about how they feel about the shows, whether it’s weird theories or funny observations. I like the format of tackling a couple episodes at a time and mixing shows in the same episode, it keeps an episode from being boring and they’re almost always talking about a show I’m interested in hearing about.

best kdrama podcast everAmazing Show, Amazing HostsIn love with this podcast. Everytime I watch a new/old drama, I scroll back to see if you guys covered it. I work at the library and I listen to this podcast during work and can’t stop smiling. Thank you guys for giving genuine reviews full of comedy and laughs. Feels like I’m hanging out with a bunch of friends lol. I don’t have many friends that share the same interest of dramas that I have so it’s good to hear you guys as a group of friends talking about things I love. Keep it up!

ouijaWhyIf you're looking for a podcast of 4 friends talking over each other while laughing too much at themselves and swallowing their words, liking or disliking shows without giving reasons why beyond their personal opinion, offering no insight into the characters and stories they're watching, constantly competing to say something funny, and recapping by jumping all over an episode or starting in the middle and not finishing because of all the personal inside-joke sidetracking, then this is the show for you! I just wonder why they thought their group chat was worth listening to by anyone beyond themselves.

I sent you guys bts content 🙂Great production valueThis podcast is one of the few that are actually funny… sorry… The cast has their own personality and they talk about recommendations, reviews and their own style This is a great Kdrama podcast and it has great production value, no lack of communication, and their reviews make me yearn to we able to listen to their next review Unlike other kdrama podcasts, Pocha Playlist has more solid reviews for their shows and are actually able to drop some shows. wtfnickname2021Easy-listening and comforting Podcast!I came across this podcast series from a friend talking about it to our friends. I honestly don’t watch that many kdramas but this podcast is super easy to listen to. I can sense that everyone’s close to each other and it reminds me of my own personal friend group. There’s always that goofy friend, the sarcastic friend, the female voice of reason, and the bro. I can casually listen to this series while I’m working or even when I’m drinking alone at home during covid. P.S. solid sound bytes on the soju cheers and the intro/interludes. I felt like I’m listening to a Korean variety show or something lol
