ian treguthSanityThis forms one of my necessary doses of sanity, as a Brit living in America for the past 2 years. Great show, brilliant guests and emphatic questions.
-
calzoneousGood Interviews; could live without the comedyThe interviews are engaging and interesting. I'd give it five stars for the interviews. The humour segments at the start of some episodes, and especially the impressions, border between mildly interesting and excruciating. Cut them. Also the sound quality is poor on some of the live episodes, which really detracts.

Toploader12Good mix of guestsStumbled on this podcast recently and am delighted I did. Have listened through a lot of the archive and am impressed at the broad range of guests and political opinion.

AllyBain1985New ListenerIm a Scottish football coach based in Charlotte North Carolina, love the podcast, interviews are magnificent & really enjoy how Matt connects with his guests. As someone who struggles to keep up with political news from back home this has been great 👍🏻

stephenocpdxGreat show!A treasure
-
LuckysClubEngaging discussion, when it can be heardThis podcast features good guests having interesting conversations, but the audio levels are horrible. It wildly fluctuates volume levels and is usually too soft to hear clearly. Then all of a sudden volume spikes and deafens the listener. They need much better miking of the guests and venue and better audio engineering.

Dhulin75Brilliantly entertainingIt’s so refreshing to hear someone so funny and intelligent bringing together comedy and politics in such a respectful way.
-
Spc9999Superb, must listenThe show is superb for so many reasons. Matt's ability to coax the hidden human side from his guests while mixing humour and serious discussion is unparalleled.
-
User3010Funny butnot mean-spirited so quite a lovely listen
-
Avery ~EnjoyableEspecially liked his interview with Tony Blair -- included some sheepish admissions and humor. (Or humour, if you prefer.)
-
