ThatcherzExcellent!Easily the very best introductory geology podcast that I have listened to. Along with hundreds of clear and interesting discussions covering geographic time, continental drift, mountain building, erosion, mineral deposits, etc., etc., the companion website provides the transcript of each episode with maps and other great illustrations. Enjoy!

BlackkojakFill your BrainGreat stuff! Dick is a master at weaving information about our Earth's beginnings into segments that are compelling and easy to understand for us lay-people. One of the best of the science podcasts yet!

sixtiesluvrI've learned a lotAs a science junkie, I really enjoy this podcast. There is so much information given in each episode. I've especially enjoyed it since Mr. Gibson put the individual daily episodes together into monthly episodes. Once you've listened to a few of these podcasts, you'll never look at a mountain range or canyon the same.

katenmkateExcellent Natural History PodcastNov 2014…Still listening! I hate for the year to end! Feb 2014 …I subscribe to all the NH-type podcasts I can locate. I just found this one, and am really impressed with the 10 or so I have listened to. Just the right length, and just the right level of information. I recommend it totally..

uptownlarry1Geology for geologists-amateur or proA fantastic amount of information in bite-sized clips. Highly recommended. I do wonder if this goes over the heads of some, but check it out. I've learned something each episode, as a professional geologist.

Matthew von der AheExcellent and informative!I am really impressed with this podcast. The host presents clear overviews of huge topics but then can zoom in to highlight relevant details. The production and narration quality improved quickly (a bit rough the first several episodes) and the podcast is smooth and professional-sounding while still being genuine. Anyone interested in geology and paleontology will enjoy this podcast. I am a professional geologist and I learn something in every episode. Two thumbs up.
